Don't we all want to be like Roy?

March Madness is coming to an end and the University of North Carolina Tar Heels have made it to the championship yet again. In honor of the Heels, I thought I'd let you in on my personal favorite thing about Carolina basketball: Roy Williams. The man goes through many emotions in a game, probably as many as we've all gone through this semester.

1. When you walk out of a test you surely did not pass, but hey, at least it's over

You talk to your classmates, things are not looking good. IT'S FRIDAY THOUGH, SO PARTY ON.

2. When you show up on the first day expecting the syllabus and a quick chat, but leave with homework

I don't even have the book yet. Why is this a thing? Why are we doing this?

3. When you finally have some free time but all of your friends are still busy

Well, I guess I'll just have to watch Netflix alone...again.

4. When your roommate comes to check on you after a particularly eventful evening

You are, in fact, not okay.

5. When you take a moment to think about all the debt you're accumulating

I personally try not to think about this. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

6. When you wake up and go to your 8 a.m. only to find that it's cancelled

I 10/10 recommend checking your email as soon as you wake up, just in case.

7. When you finally get that text back while you're waiting with the squad

My personal favorite type of celebration is a squad celebration.

8. When you're supposed to be paying attention, but this is you in your head

Every single day of my life. Why am I like this?

See? We're all pretty much Roy Williams when you look at it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
