Everyone has a crazy friend. And if you don't? Well...you're probably the crazy friend. I've heard countless times throughout my life that every friend group has a "crazy friend". Well...those countless times and recollections really got me thinking, and I have come to the conclusion that I am the crazy friend.

so...

You might be the crazy friend if...

1. Your friends use your name to threaten their exes.

Literally all of my friends have told their exes at some point that "My friend is crazy and she will burn your house down." Tbh I would though...and if you would too, you might just be the crazy friend.

2. Stalking potential boyfriends is actually something you could be paid for.

I'm sorry, you bailed why...? Well I checked your Facebook, insta, twitter, your friends social media, your exes' social media, googled your work place hours, called some friends, looked up the news, and decided that you're a liar so like...DUECES.

3. Your friends are afraid of you when you are mad at them.

You might be the crazy friend if you get mad and someone says "whoa calm down" or "oh my gosh it wasn't that bad" or "I'm sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!" If I had a dollar for every time I told one of my friends that she messed up...I would actually be rich.

4. Insults don't phase you

Wow...that really hurt my feelings...hahhhahaha. Cry 'bout it.


5. You aren't afraid to follow through.

...don't. hurt. my. friends.

6. Significant others actually fear you.

If you want to mess with the people I care about, be prepared to face the repercussions. (if you think this...you might be the crazy friend)

7. You tell it how it is...no matter what

You want the best for your friends right? Tell them. No matter what. Even if it sounds crazy...

8. Sometimes, you go too far.

I wish I was more sorry about burning your clothes on your front porch but I'm not. And if you continue to be mean to my best friend, I will light your car on fire...see? This is why I'm the crazy friend.


There is a crazy friend in every friendship and if it has to be me, then so be it, because I love every second of it. I am proud to be the friend that my friends warn their boyfriends about. I am proud to be the friend that my friends tell all of their crazy stories about. I am proud to be the friend that follows through with letting an ex know they have done wrong. It may sound immature, but really, all of this means that I am blessed with people in my life that I would never want to hurt. It means I am blessed with people that I care so much about. And if protecting them no matter the costs means I'm crazy...then that is fine. Because trust me, you won't hurt them more than once.
