If you're not greek affiliated in anyway, you're probably wondering what "pledge sisters" are to begin with. Well, to put it simply, they are the girls that pledge your sorority at the same time as you. They are the girls that run to your new found home with you and go through your new member experience and initiation beside you. These are the girls that will be there with you until you graduate. They are your pledge class. Pledge classes are often referred to as "PC '(the year of pledging)."

I am part of PC '15 or as we like to call ourselves, PC Fifth Harmony. These are just a few reasons I love you guys.

1. They ran home with you.

There is really no way to explain the excitement of running home to your new sorority sisters. There is an instant attachment to those new sisters, but especially the ones that ran with you.

2. They went through the new member experience with you.

We all have share a "Momma Hoot," a.k.a. our new member educator. We were there with each other through it all.

3. They celebrated initiation with you.

We did it. That is about all I can about that.

4. If there's an embarrassing picture of you, they will be the ones to dig it up from the deep dark depths of your profile or post it.

The embarrassment of your sisters is out of love.

6. They will always be there when you need them the most.

Don't get me wrong, all of your sisters will be. That's what we are for, but the bond between pledge sisters is very strong.

7. They are your biggest fans.

Your pledge sisters will be the first to back you up. We may argue and get on each others nerves, but we get really defensive when it comes to each other.

8. They are the ones you will spend all four years with.

With the exception of the few girls that will graduate sooner or transfer for major purposes, we will all walk across the stage and receive our diplomas together. We will have been through it all by then. I don't even want to think about the day that we part ways.

I am beyond grateful for my pledge class and I couldn't ask for any better group of girls to spend my years in a sorority with. PC Fifth Harmony, you rock.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
