The school season is upon us. And as everyone is moving into dorms, sorority houses, and apartments, decorations are being hung and given to friends. Also, the start of school means big/little week is approaching. And if you are anything like me, you have very little artistic ability. However, I am giving you easy things that are fairly easy and will impress anyone.
1. Canvases
Canvases can be as easy or complex as you want. They can have quotes, photos and actual paintings on them. One idea for a canvas is to write out quotes and add something easy. One way to make something easy is to use your fingers to make flowers or clouds.
Another option is to make patterns or easy designs and then add letters over those designs. Some basic pattern ideas are to add an ombre effect, use tape to help paint stripes, or add colors and blend them together in random patterns.
The last idea is to print something out and then stick it to the canvas. After finding an image, you can attach it to the canvas and then seal it with glue.
2. Paddles
Paddles are mainly used in sororities. They can be a great gift and are easy to personalize. If you are joining a sorority, paddle exchanges are very common and are a very welcome gift.
3. Clipboards
Everyone loves getting something that you can use. Clipboards provide a creative way to look smart and professional, but also show their personality.
4. Mason Jar Letters
This is a very unique idea that I fell in love with a couple months ago. You get a bunch of mason jars and put letters on them of something you want to spell out. Then, you spray paint the jars and when you remove the letters and put candles in the jar, you can see the word spelled out.
5. Wooden Initials
This is another unique way to show someones personality. They can be covered in rhinestones, paint designs.
6. White Boards
White boards with decorated borders and bows are super cute in any room and are quite easy and inexpensive. They are also useful.
7. Tye Dye Shirts
This can get messy. However, if you put the time in to make someone a shirt, they will appritiate what you give them. Shirts are also easy to personalize and quite fun to make.
8. Candy or Gift Baskets
This is probably the last resort. You can make very cute things. Also, who doesn't want a basket full of food?
