I must admit that I have a dessert obsession. If you are anything like me and love a good ice cream sundae, donut or cupcake-please take the following pieces of advice if you are ever in the Orange County area.
GO TO THESE PLACES:

Not only is this place delicious, it is also adorable. These doughnuts are always warm and always delicious. I promise, you will not regret going here for even a second. This shop is the true gem of Costa Mesa.
2. Pressed Juicery
Alright, who does not love frozen yogurt? It is SO tasty. However, Pressed is 100% vegan and made with REAL fruit! Honestly does not get much better than that? This is the definition of guilt free dessert. You can also find this one-of-a-kind place in Costa Mesa.
3. Cauldron Ice Cream
I am a lover of all ice cream items typically and I thought that ice cream could not get much better. Cauldron Ice Cream has proven me wrong. The waffle cone is called a "puffle" and it tastes like an actual breakfast waffle. This place is filling and perfect for people of any age!
4. Eiswelt Gelato
If you like ice cream, I am willing to bet you also love gelato. You can find Eiswelt Gelato in Westminster, it may be a bit of a drive, but you will not regret taking the time to visit this sweet shop. This is by far the most adorable cone of gelato I have ever seen. If you visit, you will have the option of getting a rose, dog, or pig shaped treat. This place is also the perfect choice to take kiddos for a tasty treat that is sure to make them smile.
5. The Dirty Cookie
OK, this is such a bright idea! Milk and cookies have been a delicious treat for centuries. The Dirty Cookie put a spin on the tradition by making shot glasses out of cookies. Not only are you able to enjoy the snack, however you can take shots of milk (or chocolate milk, or vanilla milk) and then eat the snack afterwards.
6. Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor
If you can eat a lot in one sitting, go here. Every item I have tried feels like an endless ice cream sundae. You will not regret stopping by. This place is SO friendly, be prepared for loud noises and a lot of singing employees.
7. Sprinkles Cupcakes
Cupcakes are a scrumptious treat year round. Rain or shine, you'll find people smiling when a cupcake is in their hand. Sprinkles is a very well known place and there is a reason for that- beyond tasty cupcakes in all flavors! Please go here, it is worth every penny.
8. Krispy Kreme
Doughnuts are yummy all day long and Krispy Kreme does a fabulous job at meeting everyone's doughnut needs! These donuts are served warm (most of the time) and you can catch them for a late night snack because they are open late! Most locations also have a drive thru, making for a nice quick treat stop, that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
