7 TV Shows That Will Make You Hungry

1. SpongeBob SquarePants

The Krabby Patty is probably the Holy Grail of fictional food. Seriously, between the sandwich's hype in the show, and the gloriously perfect topping ratio, I have always died to try a Krabby Patty. Let's not forget the Krusty Krab Pizza, because it is the pizza, for you and me. Yikes... but even that dang thing looked good! Pretty Patties and Jellyfish Jelly Patties even looked delicious. The Sponge can do no wrong, it seems - and the result is many hungry viewers.

2. The Simpsons

Homer Simpson is the donut diva we all should aspire to be. This show makes cartoon donuts seem so appealing that by the end of the episode you are somehow buckled into your car and on your way to Dunkin Donuts. From the general junk food feasts in which Homer indulges, to that classic pink frosted donut, watching the Simpsons is definitely an activity that will leave you looking for a snack.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

These rad, butt-kicking turtles sure know how to feast. To be honest, any show that even mentions pizza in passing makes me seek out pizza like a ravenous animal. But also, these guys fuel up with pizza to fight crime, and that's cool enough to make any person hungry/excited enough to order three giant pizzas...for one.

4. Scooby Doo

Sure, Scooby and Shaggy had their reasons for being so hungry - but when these boys ate, they did it right. Between stacking mile high sandwiches, grabbing every food in sight to combat some "innocent" munchies, and somehow making dog treats look like delicious cookies, these crazy kids know how to dine. They sure know how to make a viewer's stomach howl too, for that matter.

5. Keeping Up With The Kardashians (and really any other reality TV show)

If you're filming people's lives, you are bound to have a ton of footage of them eating food. However, it seems like nearly every other scene in Keeping Up With The Kardashians (or shows like The Real Housewives of wherever) is full of food. Whether it's a giant burger or a hearty salad these ladies are munching on, you are guaranteed to be famished throughout the duration of the episode.

6. Pretty Little Liars

I only have some shame that this show made the list. Can you blame me when these four girls are eating in so many scenes of the show?! It's either Chinese food, fresh fruit, or some fries that are on display twice or more in every episode. You'll at least leave the episode wanting a cup of coffee, because these girls definitely have a caffeine issue. Moral of the story: don't watch this show on an empty stomach.

7. Friends

Countless hours with the lattes and muffins at the Central Perk are bound to leave a person starved...that is if you're just a spectator watching the show. Not only do you laugh off a ton of calories watching this show, but your hunger is intensified by how much this group of characters eats. Don't even get me started on those Thanksgiving episodes.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
