Most people might ignore the aspects of creativity and what it can offer. A lot of people would rather go aimlessly through the day, and only use their mind enough just to do that. They do not understand how a creative mind can benefit them and enrich their lives. But applying creative thinking to your everyday life can make things so much more interesting. With creativity you free your mind up to think in new and exciting ways. There are many aspects of life in which you can find yourself benefiting from the use of a creative mindset. Here are just a few ways in which creative thinking can benefit you.

Creativity can help you find new ways to work, and find easier ways to do everyday chores. A creative and liberal mind will allow you to look at objects, motions and tasks in ways you may have never seen before. You can use creativity (and some ingenuity) to refurbish everyday objects to new uses (known as life hacks), and you can re-think everyday chores in new ways. Many people are already doing this, and you can find many examples online.

Creative thinking can also allow you to look at situations and topics in different ways. When you open your mind up to creative thinking you also open it up to new possibilities. Allowing yourself to have an open mind will give you the clarity to properly judge a situation. With creativity, you can also find ways to solve everyday problems in the fairest, and most efficient way. Creative thinking will also give you the ability to present, and interpret topics and information in fun, or interesting ways.

A creative mind is also a fun mind. With creativity and imagination you can make life fun. You can craft a game out of the most boring chores and tasks. Or you can think up of stories to entertain you as you drift off to sleep or when you find yourself with nothing to do. You can share those stories with friends, or even the internet. Maybe if you are lucky you can use creativity as a job. Such jobs include writing, drawing, painting, music, and so much more. Creative thinking can open all sorts of possibilities for fun, enriching, and fulfilling living. As you will find new ways to live, and new ways to smile.

Creativity will ultimately free your mind to fly wherever it pleases. It will open your eyes to new possibilities, and make you think of new ways to do everyday things. You can use creativity as a tool. A tool that can make work fun, life easier, save you from boredom, and even make you feel more fulfilled. Creativity will challenge your mind, enhance your brain, and give you the ability to think outside of the box.

Ultimately, while creativity will enhance your life; it is also important to life. Without creativity we as a race would not be where we are today. We would not have marvelous inventions like phones or the internet. We would lack the ability to build our civilizations up with magnificent buildings and sound structures. We would not have the marvelous stories of Shakespeare or The Odyssey. We would never see, or know art and music, and we would all just be mindless and numb beings who know nothing but survival. We would lack the capacity of living interesting and meaningful lives. Luckily that is not our current existence. Creativity is a part of our lives, and is one of the many things that make us human. So it is important that we all use our creative instincts to do good for ourselves, and give us the freedom to do awesome things.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
