Jesus loves you BIG!
"I have loved you with and everlasting love"- Jeremiah 31:3
1. Jesus saves and forgives
You are his pride and joy-you are his children. He saves all who ask him into their heart and he forgives all who sin no matter how many times we sin, over and over again.
2. Tithe
"You take care of God's business, he'll take care of yours"- Pastor C
You are to give back to the Lord, some of the money HE has provided you towards HIS work throughout the church and missions.
3. Do missions work
Spread the love of the Lord throughout doing missions work. I know growing up in a church that doing Mission work is a huge part of our church, has helped me grow in ways you wouldn't believe. I have been on about 10 mission trips and they have been some of the best times of my life. I've build relationships with people across the globe, got to know people from my church a lot better, made friends thrift trips through my school, and loved on those who need it most.
4. Prayer works
No matter what struggles you are facing, God hears all your prayers. Pray more than 1 time a day-pray always! He hears them ALL, I promise!
5. Devotions and reading The Bible is key
This is how you learn what God has to say to you and his teachings for life. I will be completely honest this is something I struggle with, but when I read the bible, for even 10 minutes, my mind feels clear and fresh! This is a good way to start your day.
6. You do Vacation Bible School every summer
From the time I could walk and attend VBS, I went. Once I was too old to attend, I now help with it. I love seeing small children of God express their love for the the Lord!
7. Youth Group will have an impact on you
I don't even know where to start with this one. Youth group has been such a big part in my life. In high school, I always looked forward to every Sunday-to go to youth group! It helped me get a good start on my week, because I seriously really didn't like school at all. I've met some of my closest friends at youth group and I know they'll always have my back, love me for all my flaws, and will go on Starbucks dates with me-as long as we live and talk about life. My youth pastor and youth leader helped me get through one of the hardest times in my life and I seriously could never, ever thank them enough.
