7 Things That Give All Girls Anxiety In Fall

The official start of Fall was September 22, and what a great time to be alive. Fall is when most girls thrive, the season is filed with cute things that we love. Sweaters, Halloween, pumpkin spice everything, we love it all, but there are also some things we don't love. Maybe we take this season to seriously, but there is a lot of effort that girls put in to making their favorite season of autumn the best. It only comes around once a year, and while we enjoy it, there are some things that happen in far that cause girls anxiety.

1. When the barista at Starbucks says they’re out of soy milk, non fat milk, or any other necessary ingredient for your favorite seasonal drink.

“If I can’t get a skinny pumpkin spice latte, what else am I supposed to order?”

2. Seeing so many fall related crafts and recipes on Pinterest and wanting to push all responsibilities away so you can DIY your life to be autumn everything.

“Homework can wait, I have to make these caramel apples from Pinterest ASAP”

3. Making plans to do fall activities for every weekend with your friends is way harder than you thought.

“If we go apple picking this week and pumpkin picking next week, when are we going to the haunted house?”

4. Figuring out what to be for Halloween is going to take all of your time and energy.

“Which of my friends are going to be part of my group costume idea?”

5. Picking a flannel is such a hard decision to make considering the crazy amount you have in your closet.”

“If I cant chose one of these flannels soon, I’m going to be late for class”

6. When you walk in to Bath and Body Works, you just know that your wallet will be empty by the time you are done buying out the store.

“It’s a fall tradition to buy 10 fall scented candles, about 4 lotions, some room spray, etc…”

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
