1. It’s a waste of time: I could be doing other things right now… like watching Netflix or sleeping.
2. It’s disappointing: …because we are supposed to get results overnight right?
3. It’s so boring: Who wants to run on a treadmill when you’re not moving anywhere? Treadmills are the only option for a workout right?
4. I don’t want to go alone: Out of the thousands of people at our schools we can’t find a single person to be our workout buddy.
5. I’m young: I might as well eat what I want and not workout because I’m young and have a super high metabolism right?
6. My back hurts: My head hurts; my knee hurts; my pinky hurts… everything hurts. These aches and pains prevent us from doing any sort of activity.
7. And the most common excuse…I’m too busy: So often we come up with a list of things we have to complete during the day and just can’t squeeze in time for a work out. Obviously everything else is just so much more import… including the season finale of the Bachelor.
