Bring on the football games, the colorful leaves, and crisp air! My favorite season is here. The fall is the best for a lot of reasons including the cute clothes, the cooler weather, and the beautiful scenery. Here are 60 things that I want to do this Fall, and I think you should too.

1. Go to a farmers market

2. Go to a bonfire

3. Go to a football game

4. Go on a hike

5. Go and pick pumpkins at a pumpkin patch

6. Eat s'mores

7. Watch Halloween Town

8. Eat a popcorn ball

9. Make and eat pumpkin bread

10. Find a great fall candle (and give it to your mom because candles aren't allowed in dorms)

11. Find a cute and cheap Halloween costume

12. Drive through the mountains to see the leaves

13. Make and eat caramel apples

14. Drink apple cider

15. Carve pumpkins

16. Eat candy corn

17. Go apple picking

18. Go on a hay ride

19. Look up at the stars

20. Go to a haunted house

21. Paint your nails a cute fall color

22. Say thank you to as many people as you can

23. Learn to cook a turkey

24. Jump in a pile of leaves

25. Do service for somebody (maybe rake someone's leaves so that you can jump in them?)

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
