6 Types Of Boys You'll Meet In College

You'll find these boys on every college campus across the country, but we all know college wouldn't be the same without them.

The Great Gatsby

He’s the ultimate fun time, no party or gathering would be the same without him. It’s not 100% confirmed that he actually goes to school here, he’s on campus just enough to convince you that he does. He’s always the one to throw the party and knows literally everyone. If he does go to school, you're not sure what kind of grades he’s pulling but he definitely takes the prize for fan favorite.

The Rookie

This kid is usually a super adorable freshman that you and your friends adopt and take under your wing like a little brother. He’ll dance all night with you and the gf’s and talk all the juicy gossip. You give him girl advice all the time, you’re basically his Oprah.

The Einstein

This guy does literally nothing but school. You tried studying with him once but he yelled at you for trying to talk and play music. You did however get an A on that quiz, as it turns out he’s probably the best study partner you’ve ever had.

The Neil Armstrong

This guy is the first one to get a fake and buy all the freshman alcohol. Like Neil Armstrong he took one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind (or everyone who lived on your dorm room floor). No one knows what happened to him after everyone turned 21, but you sure are grateful he walked into your life. Raise a glass for Neil, this one's for you man.

The Draco

You’re not sure how this kid keeps getting invited places considering you’d rather chew your arm off “42 Hours” style than talk to him. He’s too far up on his high horse to actually look down and realize no one likes him. He has an ego the size of Slytherin and is completely oblivious to how condescending he is. Yet every party, there he is. He has moments of being cool, but then you remember how he high-key sides with the Dark Lord, which is not lit.

The Casanova

This guy is basically the equivalent to a snake charmer. He somehow sweet talks his way with every girl he’s met. He probably speaks two languages to better whisper sweet nothings all night long during the party. You’ve watched many a girls fall to his siren song, but not you. He’s nothing like the typical college jerk, he’s actually super nice, but you know all his tricks. Immune to ways of this enchanter, it’s still very interesting to watch the way he operates. Perhaps maybe he can teach you something?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
