Self-care is no joke. It's a real thing, folks. Others know and follow it; some know it but don't think about them; some don't know who really should. So, I have compiled 6 self-care tips as someone who falls under the last two categories. These are some I've thought of on my own, others I've learned from others. Hope this helps get you started on learning to take of yourself.

1. Take a 5 minute break to practice mindfulness

2. Be aware of when you need time for yourself and take it

3. Unplug from your phone, tablet, computer for 10 minutes a day
