Well, no need to procrastinate even more than I already am with an introduction, so here are 50 things I'd rather do than study:

10. Actually go to Vienna, Prague and Budapest

29. Learn how to use a sewing machine

30. Go cliff-jumping in Honolulu

31. Have a Disney movie marathon

32. Explore the Amazon rainforest... by way of zip line.

33. Read the newspaper with a cup of coffee by my side

34. Actually clean out my email inbox (110 emails and counting...)

35. Ride a hot air balloon in Turkey

36. Make a fruit smoothie

37. Go coffee-shop-hopping around Atlanta (That's a thing, right?)

38. Become proficient in speaking Japanese

40. Work on a 1000-piece puzzle

41. Print out all of my photos so I no longer have to view them through a screen

42. Aspire to be like Olivia Pope from "Scandal"

43. Spend half an hour watching 45-second baking videos on Facebook (I really shouldn't be following this food account)

44. Sleep

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
