Life is made up of little things, so I've compiled a list of small moments we often forget to be grateful for, but are literally the best thing since sliced bread.

1. Sunshine on an important day.

2. Taking your shoes off after a long day at work.

3. Putting on a fresh pair of socks.

4. Getting to see a friend you haven't seen in a long time.

5. Finding a bathroom when you've been holding it forever.

6. Getting into bed and finding the sheets still smell like your significant other.

7. A pair of jeans that fit just right.

8. Finally breaking in a pair of heels.

9. Holding a little kid's hand.

10. Or on that note, receiving a hug from a small child.

11. Totally acing a presentation.

12. Changing into comfy pajamas after being in dress clothes all day.

13. Getting your liquid eyeliner right on the first try.

14. Finding a letter for you in the mail that is not a bill or an advertisement.

15. Killing your workout.

16. Finishing a great book.

17. Finding out the item you wanted to buy is actually on sale.

18. Eating your favorite cheat food (mine's ice cream or fries!) after you've been strictly following your new diet.

19. Coming home from vacation and finding out you didn't gain any weight.

20. Peeling off a hangnail without making your nail bed a bloody mess.

21. Sitting and watching TV all day when it's raining outside.

22. The moment Netflix releases a new season of your favorite series.

23. Receiving a compliment from a stranger.

24. Getting where you need to go just as it starts to rain.

25. Pulling in your driveway when your favorite song ends.

26. Finding the last parking spot.

27. Finding money in clothing you haven't worn in a while.

28. Cooking a perfect meal from scratch.

29. Popping a pimple (even though you know you shouldn't!).

30. Having that 11th person like your Instagram post so it goes to numbers instead of people.

31. Finally getting that annoying itch.

32. Sneezing after it's been stuck for a while.

33. Drinking a hot cup of coffee on a cold day.

34. Having your WiFi connect automatically.

35. Or pretty much anytime the WiFi works flawlessly.

36. Hitting only green lights on your way home.

37. Singing at the top of your lungs with the windows down.

38. Or in the shower.

39. Having a constructive conversation instead of an argument.

40. Bumping to that throwback song on the radio/in the bar.

41. Waking up refreshed before your alarm goes off.

42. Feeling like you've really helped a friend through a rough time.

43. Treating yourself after working your butt off and saving money.

44. When your server gives you your soda for free.

45. Getting a text from someone you love.

46. Finding no line for the ladies' room.

47. Ordering a perfectly mixed cocktail.

48. The feeling of the sun warming your skin.

49. Getting a gift you love.

50. Taking a hot shower.
