WARNING: This is sappy but I enjoyed writing this so much, I hope you do too.
Love is truly a blessing. As a little girl I always prayed I would find a love like my parents had, and now I can say I have it. It is something I will never take for granted. There is so much to thank our amazing guys for that we may not always say. Love opens our eyes to many new experiences and is a spectacular journey, and I am so lucky to be on this path with someone who is one of a kind. This one's for our amazing guys!
Thank you for accepting me as I am.
I have never had to pretend to be someone I'm not around you. I don't have to be self conscious about my horrible singing or how my stomach sticks out after a huge meal at Olive Garden. But on a more serious note, thank you for loving me for who I am. You have never pressured me to change my beliefs, but have been there to support me in all my choices. It means the world to me.
Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on.
When I'm having a horrible day, you're always there to be a helping hand. You let me cry, yell, and just let it out. You help me work out my issues, big or small, and have helped me overcome some truly difficult times. Especially during our college days, there is so much stress and you are always my sunshine on the dark days!
Thank you for supporting me.
There are times when I get so overwhelmed with all I have to do and I worry I won't succeed. You are always there to encourage me and let me know you believe in me. You always tell me how smart and capable I am and it gives me a great push in life. You help me to work harder in school and help me to be a better person. Thank you for believing in me no matter what.
Thank you for handling my mood swings.
Ladies, we can all agree that we are moody creatures and it can be a daunting thing to deal with! So dear, thank you for putting up with my laughing (and crying) fits, snappy remarks and cranky mornings. I don't know how you deal with me sometimes, but it makes me so happy to know that you love me anyways. I can't thank you enough for accepting my personality in its many forms. (I will be working on this one for sure.)
Lastly, thank you for being you and for choosing me.
I am so lucky to have found a man like you who is so loving, kind, accepting, and a great person! I am so grateful that we became friends, then more, and the person you are, has made me better. You show me different perspectives and help me to be more understanding, and I love how much I learn from you. Love is an amazing feeling, but it is also a choice. I choose you everyday, and I thank you for choosing me. I am so lucky to have you.
When you find an amazing love, hold onto it. Nourish it and give it your all. I am again, so lucky to have found my amazing guy. Love is an incredible journey that I pray everyone gets to experience in their life time. There are good times and bad, but love endures and is worth the time and effort put in. I don't always say thank you enough for all that you do, so here it is in writing for you to always remember. I love you.
