What’s your thing? You know the one thing she could automatically do on the first date to the last date that really gets you. The one thing that nags or maybe the one that simply you could do without. From the perspective of a girl, I can see that we have this idea that he secretly loves every lil itty-bitty piece of us. How could he not? Well from the perspective of some of my dearest friends and new friends of the opposite sex, there are things that we do that he could certainly do without. Listen close sister, he may just put a ring on it if we put those qualities on the back burner and be these five confidant qualities instead.
1. Be Miss. Independent
For many of my gentlemen friends, this was the number one quality that they found to be the most attractive: Independence. The lack thereof tended to lead to them pulling more slack financially, physically and emotionally. This is an adult relationship, lets act like it honey. The man isn’t your daddy. He is your partner. Therefore, be the girl that brings over breakfast after his late night shift or fills the gas tank. Stand on your own two feet baby and be comfortable in them. God made them for a reason.
2. Communication Is The Key To His Heart
Use your big girl words babe. He doesn’t just know. He is not one of us, the women always know with a look or nudge or wink wink. Guys are not wired the same. So, with that being said. Spell it out for him plain and clear, no emojis, but instead real verbiage with punctuation. This does not mean excessive communication to the point of calling him every hour on the hour. When there is an issue, just communicate that versus giving him the silent treatment. You can do it.
3. “Got That Ambition Baby”
Make a damn vision board and let that shit magically unfold before your eyes. Where do you wanna go with your life? What’s on your bucket list? Who is on your bucket list? Is he on your bucket list? Set a vision for both yourself and the two of you together. Create a life of growth for yourself before you look at growing into anything with him.
4. Own Your Sexuality
Get fuckin freaky. Who doesn’t want a, and I quote, “lady in the streets, but a freak in the sheets.” Be okay with knowing what pleases you and speak up about it. He wants to be the one that truly knows your G-spot, a spot that you both get to share. Hehehehe.
5. Let The Man Be A Man
For me, I personally let the man be a little to free. I am not saying to let them be so free that they don’t think that you care. CARE. However, if all the boys are getting together at his place to watch the game, don't worry about checking in. Instead drop off a 30 rack of their favorite brew and go out for margaritas with the girls. May I add, not only will he fall even harder for you, but so will his buddies. No one can resist a girl with beer in her hands. There is never a time when a girl wants to be known as the “nagging” girlfriend. So simply, don’t be her.
