Five Services Every Guy Should Have, But May Not Know About

As a fellow guy, there are certain things in this world we need to survive. Although food, shelter, and water are really important, here are five more things that need to be added to that list:

5. Spotify Premium

$5 per month for students / $10 per month for non-students.

Spotify is taking off as one of the best apps to get. Mark my words: EVERY GUY SHOULD CONSIDER GETTING SPOTIFY PREMIUM. If you're a college student, $5 bucks a month gets you a huge selection of music to stream and play, the ability to take your playlists offline, and you also get different radio stations tailor-made to fit your mood. Did I mention there are no ads?

4. The Dollar Shave Club

Subscription varies; you pay for the razors.

Long story short, you select the razor blades you want, The Dollar Shave Club sends you a free handle with some cartridges, and essentially you're saving a ton of money because you're paying $3 to $9 bucks per month for the razor blades. You can also opt for a subscription with more samples, depending on how often you shave.

3. The Trunk Club

Free subscription; you pay for the clothes.

Trunk Club is a new clothing service for men. YES, FOR MEN. If you sign up for this brand new service, you will get contacted by one of their stylists. This stylist will get a grip of what kind of style you have, and from there, will recommend some clothes that match your taste and ship it out to you. Then, all you have to do is keep the ones you like and send the other styles back. It's as simple as 1-2-3!

2. The Amazon Dash Button

$5 with an Amazon Prime account.

What is a Dash Button? When you're running low on certain products, (say bleach, for example) you just press this button (installed on your in-home washer unit) and it automatically sends an order out to Amazon for another batch of said product. This is online shopping, literally, at the press of a button.

1. The DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket Streaming App

$24.99 for students / $49.99 for non-students.

This is the greatest app for all the football fanatics out there. You can stream every out-of-market regular Sunday football game on any streaming device. Whether it's a phone, tablet, laptop, Roku, Chromecast, etc., you are good to go. Number one reason why I recommend it? You don't even need a DirecTV account! Plus, the price is absolutely perfect for what you're getting, and it also includes NFL Redzone and DirecTV Fantasy Zone along with your subscription. This app would get an A+ in my book if it came with hot wings, but since it doesn't, I'll just have to settle with a plain ole' A.
