5 Reasons Why Chicago Sports Fans are the Best

Being a Chicago sports fan is one of the best feelings in the world. Chicago has the best sports teams. The fans are always supporting the teams through the good and the bad. Whether you're a Sox fan or Cubs fan, everyone can agree that Chicago fans are the best fans around.


1. They never give up on their teams

Some Chicago teams have won a lot more than others. Some have won a lot more recently than others. The Blackhawks being one of them. The Hawks won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013, and 2015. The Cubs on the other hand have not won the World Series since 1908. No matter what, Chicago fans stick by their teams, win or lose.


2. They go to the games no matter the weather

Chicago winters can be brutal, but that doesn't stop Bears' fans from going to the games. No matter the weather, Soldier Field is always packed!


3. They support player's through injuries

All Chicago fans understand how frustrating injuries can be. The Bulls' MVP Derrick Rose has been through many injuries. He's a very important asset to the team. The fans continue to support him no matter what.

4. They know how to celebrate championships


The last few Blackhawk's parades have shut down the city. There are millions of people who go to the city. They all line the streets just to get a 3-second view of Jonathon Toews hoisting the Stanley Cup. After the rally millions of people watch the rally. It is one big celebration. It is something every sports fan should experience once in their lifetime.

5. They can have a friendly rivalry


Because Chicago has two baseball teams, White Sox and Cubs fans have a friendly rivalry. The teams play for the crosstown cup each season which is when the rivalry really comes out.
