Summer is around the corner and it is time to get out and create new memories! If you enjoy having fun, eating great food, taking risks and connecting with nature, then this list is for you! Here are the five places I recommend visiting this summer based on my personal experience and what others are saying. They will blow your mind.

1. Costa Rica.

Costa Rica has been receiving a lot of attention lately. It used to be a country that many would overlook. Now, everyone wants to jump on the Costa Rica train. I mean, why wouldn’t you? This place is amazing and definitely a culture shock if you’re not use to sharing your surroundings with wildlife. What I highly recommend in Costa Rica is dipping into the relaxing waters of the natural hot springs, while viewing one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world, Arenal Volcano. There are many resorts around the area that allow you to enjoy the hot springs with the volcano view. Where to stay: Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort.

Also, don’t forget to visit one of the beaches in Costa Rica. "Playa Tamarindo" is known to be one of the most popular surf spots because the waves are good year-round.

2. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is a resort town located on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Puerto Vallarta is known for its beautiful beaches, tropical rainforest and extensive history. What I highly recommend seeing: "The Underground Beach." You’ve probably seen this picture circulated all over social media platforms and wondered where it's from. The answer is: right off the coast of Puerto Vallarta on a little island called "Islas Marietas." This is a spot you absolutely do not want to miss while visiting Puerto Vallarta!

Also, make sure you visit "Bar Oceano." This place is one of the most popular places to visit in Puerto Vallarta. This phenomenal restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean and boardwalk, serves amazing food and offers live music! My personal favorite dish is the chicken fajitas. Not only does this restaurant serve delicious food, it has been frequently visited by some of the most famous people, including Elizabeth Taylor, Pablo Escobar and Johnny Depp! If that doesn’t convince you enough they also serve margaritas and beers for only $1! Now, that is a price you can’t beat!

3. Cuba.

Cuba has seen a huge increase in tourism ever since the American travel restrictions have been voided. With this, Cuba is only to going to grow, making Cuba a great country to visit in 2016 before it's played out.

4. Los Angeles, Calif.

We all know that L.A. is a very popular destination point for most vacation-goers. Aside from that, the city still has many hidden gems to offer. Such as, Orochon, a restaurant that was featured on "Man v. Food" serving some of the best ramen bowls I've ever tried. Orochon is located in Little Tokyo. The soup features jalapenos, serrano peppers, and a secret recipe full of powdered spices.

Don’t worry, Orochon also features non-fiery ramen for those who can't handle the heat.

5. National Park -- U.S.A.

Any National Park in the USA is highly recommended. The one I recommend this summer: Otter Rock, Ore. Oregon is a beautiful state that has so much nature to offer. One place that I highly recommend is "Devil’s Punch Bowl" located in Otter Rock, Ore. How it got there? I have no idea, but it is a large bowl carved into rocks and is opened to the Pacific Ocean where the waves enter the bowl. This year marks the 100th anniversary of America’s National Park Service (NPS). Therefore, get outdoors, explore and celebrate nature!

So there you have it, five places you should visit this summer in 2016! Now, what are you waiting for? Start planning!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
