5 Fitness Instas You Need To Start Following

Instagram is a beautiful thing.

I know some have a predisposition to Snapchat or Facebook, but Instagram is where you can truly find love.

I enjoy working out more than your average person, and I also like to creep on really hot girls with amazing bodies on Instagram more than I would like to admit.

For those sitting on the couch thinking about whether or not to go to the gym, for those who don't know where to start their fitness journey, for those who just want to be inspired by hard work and results that others have achieved, in no particular order, here you go.

You're welcome.

1. Kayla Itsines:

If you haven't heard every girl and their mother complain about Kayla leg day, you have been living under a rock. Kayla Itsines is a fitness guru who developed a 12-week Bikini Body Guide, which has now lovingly been shortened to "bbg." From personal experience, it is an extremely effective workout guide and will definitely provide results if you stick with the program. Her Instagram provides great before-and-afters of her clients who have tried her guides, and I promise you they will get you to the gym.

2. LEVI.WEBER.BBG (Kaitlin & Molly)/ CORPORATE_SNEAKERS (Abbie):

Attention! Attention! Two-for-one special! These Instagram pages are of women who have fallen under the Kayla spell. I really enjoy both of these as they make me feel like I am on their journeys with them. Kaitlin and Molly are best friends who have tackled the bbg challenge together, and they have setbacks just like the everyday human. Abbie is the same. They aren't models, they are just girls who want to get fit. Who wouldn't be inspired?

3. Fitnessgirlsmotivation:

I like this page just to creep on girls who work for their hot bods. There are a lot of fitness pages that promote women who look like skeletons, but this page is well put together in the way that all of the girls featured have fit bodies. I have no desire to be unhealthy, and I have no desire to constantly see girls who live unhealthy lifestyles all up on my feed.

4. Fitgirlsguide:

This page is for the girls who need the push to get healthy. This page links you to the 28 Day Jumpstart program through the Fitgirlsguide website, and although I am not trying to advertise for this program, I wouldn't say it wasn't worth it if I didn't like the plan. This Instagram provides some really funny videos and pictures along with some jaw-dropping before-and-afters, and if you don't want to be part of the "fit girl" club after some creeping, then I don't know what will work for you.

5. MindOverMunch (Alyssia Sheikh):

This page always makes my mouth water, but in a healthy way. Alyssia posts recipes and links to YouTube videos of her making the most incredible foods that won't expand your waistline but are guaranteed to extend your smile. Cookie dough? Check. Brownies? Check. Scones? Check. Need I say more?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
