If you haven't already noticed by everyone's snapchats documenting their coveted Pumpkin Spice Lattes they picked up this morning, I'm happy to finally announce to you that it's fall. There's nothing wrong with a trusty ole' PSL but the hype has become a lot. Here's some extra options to *spice* up your fall favorites.
Salted Caramel Mocha
c1.staticflickr.comThe salt really adds to this one, giving it a little extra kick. This is already on the fall menu at Starbucks, but if you're at a local shop it may be a bit harder to find. If you do, definitely try it out. It's kind of like drinking a Milky Way chocolate bar, but still a good time nonetheless.
Cinnamon Maple Latte
This one may be harder to find, but this actually tastes like a cinnamon waffle. What better way to start a crisp, fall day?
Smores Latte
Next time you go out, ask for a latte with chocolate and marshmallow syrup. It's super sweet but a nice fall dessert drink.
Vanilla Chai with Cinnamon
Coffee just not your jam? No problem. Try out a classic hot chai with vanilla and cinnamon syrup. These fall spices complement each other ridiculously well, and if you want the extra caffeine, just ask for a shot of espresso.
Gingerbread Latte
This doubles as a fall and winter drink. It's pretty simple, just a latte with gingerbread syrup, but it's not overpoweringly sweet and full of some great autumn flavor.
