Get out, and do all the touristy things there are to do in your hometown. Think about where you would want to take your family or friends when they come to visit. Where would you take them? Then go those places. Learn about the history, go to the state parks, visit a museum, see a monument, or even research new possibilities you didn't even know about. Bring your camera and take lots of pictures, buy the wacky souvenirs as a memory of the day, and buy some ice cream. It's a perfect date for summer, and it's something you'll look back on and remember, "Oh wow, that was great date."
