In this day and age, our generation craves finding new information through any gadget we can get our hands on. Lately, I've become interested in discovering creative (and useful) apps to add to my phone's collection. From one college student to another, here are some of my top picks I think we all can enjoy:
1. Tender
Think of Tinder, but with interesting recipes instead of creepy strangers. The app offers easy and affordable meal ideas from around the world. Of course you'll swipe right to save a recipe, and left to throw it away. Finding your next dinner has never been easier, or more fun!
2. TED
If you haven't seen or heard of "Ted Talks" by now, I highly suggest checking them out. Powerful discussions (on almost any subject you can think of) are now accessible wherever you may be. The app even allows you to customize a playlist with your favorite talks or ones you'd like to save for later.
3. Tapingo
Do you get annoyed waiting in line for food during a busy day? Or just don't feel like you have the time for it? If so, this app will be your new best friend. Tapingo allows you to place a mobile order from select restaurants in almost any location. Menus are provided for you — all you really have to do is submit your choice, and it's ready for pickup or delivery in reasonable time.
4. Clear
This app is what every organized person desires. Now you can sync all of your to-do lists in one place from any device with Internet access. You'll be able to remember all of your daily obligations anywhere. Things like school assignments, extracurriculars, practices and social events won't be forgotten anymore.
5. Sworkit
Your exercise routine won't feel so stressful after downloading this app. Sworkit offers guided tutorials on ways to organize your workouts more effectively. Simply choose a category to focus on — strength, cardio, yoga or stretching — set a time limit and enjoy your workout!
