If you cheered in high school each one of these statements apply to you. It doesn’t matter if you have or will cheer in college, nothing beats the "Friday Night Lights" and the people you’ve called team for 18 years.

1. “I can not move.”

Now, this is a different “I can’t move” from the one you remembered saying not long after summer cheer camp. This is every day. This is the crack of your hips and knees when you try to do yoga or get out of bed in the morning. This is worse pain than you've ever felt. Plus, it's here for the long haul. Yay us, right?

2. I don’t care how old you may get, UCA Nationals at Disney World is the Super Bowl to all cheerleaders former and present.

Oh, and trust me, we catch more errors and deductions than any judge.

3. Bloody nose, bruised arms, hands, and legs. But, what beats hitting that perfect full-up full-around with your favorite people?

I'll tell you right now I have never failed at anything more than I have at cheerleading. Plus, getting it on video is so worth it.

4. The words “full-out” still haunt you in your sleep.

Coach never meant "last-time" when she said last time.

5. You remember that one song from that one routine that literally could drive you mad?

6. In the last 12 years of my cheerleading career I have never once used “spirit fingers.”

Probably because this guy is a creep

7. Girls these days with the privilege of Nike pros never understood the real horror of spank wedgies.

8. Every Friday night spent under the lights next to our best friends was worth every single sacrifice we ever made.

9. If we were to try to stunt now, we would probably end up in the hospital.

10. Most importantly, we desperately want our future daughters and sons to be the University of Kentucky’s first pick for blue squad come their year.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
