45 Questions I Have For My Ex's New Girlfriend

It's always hard seeing your ex with someone else. Even more so when you dated them for so long and they move on to someone else so quickly. Surely it would take someone a bit longer to move on and spend time focusing on themselves, right? Or atleast that's what I thought. Even though I have a billion questions for my ex that I would ask him face to face if I could, I don't think I would want any answers. I wouldn't want to see him again or waste another minute of my time listening to his manipulative responses. However, what I would rather do is sit down with his new girlfriend and get a better understanding of her side of the story and also tell her mine. The questions would go a little something like this:

35. Have the romantic gestures stopped yet?

36. Have you started fighting yet?

37. Has he stopped writing you poems?

38. Has he called you while he's drunk and crying, begging you to go pick him up somewhere?

39. Have you seen the dark side of his drinking problem yet?

40. Has he promised you he's never going to leave?

41. Do you realize that he eventually will?

42. Are you prepared for him to leave you just like he left me?

43. Can you even comprehend how much that broke my heart?

44. Do you understand how much it killed me to see him with you?

45. Do you even have a heart to care?

Because it hurt, a lot. I would tell her to love him as much as she can and cherish the good times they have together, because they won't last forever. A part of me hopes that they will work out, because even though he broke my heart, I do want to see him happy. But then again, another part of me hopes that his new girlfriend will hurt him just as bad as he hurt me... just so he can understand how it feels to see someone he loves with someone else.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
