I've lived in the Keystone State for all my life, and I consider myself to be pretty lucky. PA is unique in that it has all different kinds of areas within it's borders, from major cities, to rural areas, to some really cool sights and things to do. Most importantly, though, it's the people who make our state the way it is. Here are 32 signs that you've spotted a Pennsylvanian.

1. They either absolutely love or can't stand Penn State Football, no in between.

2. They always clarify that they aren't Amish.

3. Speaking of the Amish, they know the Amish live in Lancaster, and they debate over how "Lancaster" is pronounced.

4. They can't shut up about Philly Cheesesteaks.

5. They've visited Hershey Park at least one time.

6. They know how to pump their own gas.

7. They're diverse, and really do come from all walks of life and communities.

8. They are very proud of their local music scenes, from rural to urban.

9. When they want a lager, they almost always drink Yuengling, a PA classic.

10. They enjoy some amazing skiing and snowboarding during the Wintertime.

11. They get surprised when they go out of state and see alcohol in convenience stores.

12. They know what a Moon Pie is.

13. They know the Schuylkill Expressway is the worst road known to man.

14. They love food from either Wawa or Sheetz.

15. They participate in debates on if Wawa or Sheetz is better.

16. They feel empty when they travel somewhere that doesn't have a Wawa or Sheetz.

17. They get tired of everyone making the Scranton - The Office connection.

18. They love to poke fun at other states like New Jersey and Delaware for various reasons.

19. They love visiting lakes, as PA has a lot of beautiful ones.

20. They usually identify where they live by county.

21. When young, they have a desire to live in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.

22. They fully understand the greatness associated with being a Steelers fan and the constant heartbreak that comes with being an Eagles fan.

23. They enjoy getting breakfast at either Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

24. They know how to drive in the snow, even without 4WD or snow tires.

25. They enjoy a good hike as they're used to great scenery.

26. They've shopped at the King of Prussia Mall at least once in their lives.

27. They've ran up the steps at the Philadelphia Art Museum like Rocky.

28. They love KFC for fried chicken but wish there was a Bojangles nearby.

29. They associate PA colleges and university with their party scenes.

30. They visit the Jersey Shore over the Summer.

31. They still haven't settled the water vs. wooder debate.

32. They know they live in a very underrated state with a lot of cool sights, cities, works of nature, and people.

If at least a few of these statements are true, then there's a very good chance that the person you're talking to has their roots in the Keystone State.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
