One of the best choices I've ever made in college was going Greek. I love everything about my sorority and all of the friends that came along with it. With the new school year coming up and recruitment right around the corner, here are 30 reasons why I know we're all obsessed with Greek life.

1. You were super excited for recruitment.
2. You ended up joining a house that you absolutely love.
3. You gained a ton of friends right away on bid day.
4. You proudly wear your block letters everywhere.
5. And by everywhere I mean just about everything you own includes your block letters.
6. You developed a whole new wardrobe from t-shirts and hoodies being passed down to you.
7. Getting your big and little was basically the best day ever for you.
8. You secretly know your greek family is better than everyone else's.
9. You know someone in just about every class.
10. You always have someone to help you with your major.
11. You gain connections for clubs and even jobs.
12. You participate in all your favorite fraternity and sorority philanthropies.
13. You buy everything in your sorority or fraternity colors.
14. You love being able to utilize everyone's closets.
15. You get way too pumped for greek week.
16. You actually enjoy all your sorority/fraternity's secret rituals.
17. You love dressing up for chapter and learning about what's new.
18. But you don't complain when chapter is informal.
19. You love seeing and buying things with your sorority/fraternity's mascot.
20. You're constantly counting down the days until your next function.
21. Formal season is the best season.
22. You're friends with people in different houses, which makes greek life so much more fun.
23. You always have someone to go out with.
24. You're always looking forward to celebrating your friend's birthdays.
25. You definitely won't celebrate your 21st alone.
26. You look forward to recruitment and gaining a new pledge class.
27. You always have a shoulder to cry on or an ear to vent to.
28. You create awesome memories and stories that you'll look back on.
29. You don't have to worry about finding bridesmaids and groomsmen.
