9. Etiquette dinners are always great. It’s a good lesson learned for both fraternity and sorority members.

10. Any mixer that doubles as a philanthropy event.

11. An “Aquafina Party.” Everyone wears white and drinks water. There can be water pong, card games with water, etc. It is incredibly fun and falls within university policies as there is no alcohol allowed.

12. A handcuff bowling mixer. Fraternity Brothers are handcuffed to their date/member of sorority. Give prizes to the top 3 winning couples.

13. Sometimes what we do is have a brunch mixer. What we do every once in a while is invite a fraternity over at about 10 or 10:30 am, cook up some pancakes and just hang out on the lawn. Its a nice change of pace.

14. Picking a fitness class to do with a fraternity can always be fun. E.g. yoga, zumba, kickboxing.

15. Ordering a bunch of pizzas, just hanging out. Usually works as a good introduction into a Greek Week pairing.

16. Date party where everyone has to find their date on Tinder.

17. Serve delicious drinks and everyone loves the sweet theme. The house gets decorated bright and with candy on the walls.

18. Community service/philanthropic event. E.g. blood drive, habitat for humanity build, etc.

19. Tailgating sporting events. Obviously football; however, for schools that don’t have major athletic teams, there can be tailgating for the sports they do have. One of our big ones is volleyball games.

20. Guest speaker. Getting a well-known person to come in and talk with students about how they became successful and taking questions on what people could do to get where they're at.

21. Non-ritual chapter meetings. We do this so that potential new members can see what it’s like to be a part of the meetings. They obviously don’t get voting rights or obligations for setting things up for the chapter.

22. Halloween: If you have a multiple level home, decorate one half as hell and the other half as heaven.

23. An etiquette seminar followed by a formal dinner.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
