When you're not out and about at the beach working on your tan, head to the theaters to check out these upcoming movies!
1. "Captain America: Civil War" - May 6
This was a pretty epic movie. It was action packed and filled with witty remarks from the one and only Iron Man. It includes various superheroes that we all love. Definitely a must watch!
2. "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" - May 20
Zac Efron, must I say more? OK, one more. Seth Rogan.
3. "Alice Through the Looking Glass" - May 27
I am really looking forward to this movie just because I loved the previous one. Johnny Depp is an amazing Mad Hatter!
4. "X-Men Apocalypse" - May 27
This movie looks epic. I never really followed X-Men, but the trailer for this movie was insane.
5. "Me Before You" - June 3
I read the book, and let's just say that you should bring a box of tissues when you're watching this film.
6. "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" - June 3
I grew up listening to the Lonely Island, and seeing as this film is from them, it'll probably be hilarious.
7. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" - June 3
Because everyone loves butt-kicking ninja turtles.
8. "Warcraft" - June 10
I can't believe they made a film for this.
9. "The Conjuring 2" - June 10
I can't do horror movies. I watched the first one with my friends, and I was covering my eyes the whole time. Imagine how I'll be if I was forced to watch this one.
10. "Now You See Me 2" - June 10
If you like magic and illusions, then this movie is for you. Plus, Dave Franco is in it.
11. "Finding Dory" - June 17
OH MY GOD! FINDING DORYYY!
12. "Central Intelligence" - June 17
It's Kevin Hart and The Rock; how could this go bad?
13. "Independence Day: Resurgence" - June 24
I liked the first movie and didn't know they were coming out with another one. The trailer was chock full of intense scenes with people walking in slow motion, specifically Liam Hemsworth, looking all cool and macho.
14. "The Shallows" - June 29
There's not much to this movie in terms of plot, but the trailer makes it look great. It's about a girl who gets stuck in shark infested waters. GG.
15. "The Purge: Election Year" - July 1
The idea of the purge just freaks me out in general. I couldn't even watch the first one. I'm not sure I can handle this one.
16. "The Legend of Tarzan" - July 1
They are finally making a live action version of Tarzan. It's going to be wild! Get it, because Tarzan is wild?
17. "The Secret Life of Pets" - July 8
Who doesn't love a movie about dogs?
18. "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" - July 8
I feel like every movie that Zac Efron is in involves being shirtless at some point. But anyways, this movie looks funny, and I'm sure Anna Kendrick will rock her part as well.
19. "Ghostbusters" - July 15
Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
20. "Star Trek Beyond" - July 22
The cinematography and the stage makeup is insane. It's an amazing cast, like the last one, with an amazing idea. I don't see how it can go wrong. Plus, the fanbase for "Star Trek" is pretty huge.
21. "Ice Age: Collision Course" - July 22
How many more "Ice Age" films will they make? Not saying they are bad or anything, but it's about animals in the ice age. There's only so much that can be said about that, right?
22. "Jason Bourne" - July 29
It should be good because Matt Damon. Plus, the whole franchise has always done pretty well.
23. "Suicide Squad" - August 5
If you love supervillains as much as you love superheroes, then you'll love this movie. I heard Jared Leto really worked hard getting into character as the Joker. He practiced his laugh in the streets of NYC just to see what kind of laugh gets under people's skin. #Dedication
24. "Sausage Party" - August 12
It looks like a wonderful movie for kids! Just kidding.
25. "Southside with You" - August 19
Ending my list with this one because it's supposed to detail the encounter between our current President of the U.S. and the First Lady.
