We all have had that one friend or group of friends that somehow turned into family. You don't know when it happened or how, but you just know that they are your best friends and they have seen you through many moments in your life.

These are 25 signs that I didn't even notice when I found my best friends. Most likely, you've seen these signs as well.

1. You have a song.

Whenever your song comes on, no matter where you are, you sing and dance to it.

2. The other gets jealous when somebody else calls the other their best friend.

That's your best friend. Nobody else can call YOUR best friend THEIR best friend.

3. You're each other's human reality check.

Whenever you need somebody to talk some sense into you, your best friend is the person you call.

4. Your family claims them as their family as well.

You know you have a true best friend when your family always asks about them, wants to know how they're doing, and wants to invite them over.

5. You love food, and you love it together.

Food makes your friendship even better because true best friends bond over great food.

6. They hype you up, especially at parties or on Snapchat.

Don't go to a party with your best friend and your song comes on. The phone comes out and once your BFF screams "That's my best friend, that's my best friend!", then you know it's time to show off and show out.

7. Friends that slay together, stay together.

If you all are going to a function, you probably text each other beforehand to see what each other is wearing so everybody can snatch everybody's edges when you get to the party.

8. Sleepovers literally turn into concerts and dance parties.

If you and your best friend love music like me and my best friend do, your sleepovers usually turn into mini concerts or a dance party.

9. You have a "look."

If something is wrong or funny, you and your best friend shoot each other "the look" which means you know exactly what they're thinking.

10. You have fun with each other, no matter how dangerous the fun may be.

It doesn't matter what you choose to do when you hang out with your best friend. It may be dangerous, but nevertheless it'll be fun and worth it.

11. They are your person.

I had to use some stuff from one of my all time favorite shows "Grey's Anatomy." Just like Dr. Cristina Yang said, Dr. Meredith Grey is her person. Your "person" is the one you go to about everything, the one you cry to, vent to, and the one you text "CODE RED" to when you need them to get you out of a sticky situation.

12. They will beg you to come out with them somewhere, especially if they don't know anybody at the function and they don't want to be alone.

Your best friend may be annoyed by any other human existence, so they probably want you to come out with them so they feel comfortable.

13. Your best friend is a person that you get mad at from time to time, but only for a little while.

You aren't true best friends with a person until they piss you off, but you won't be upset for long. They are your best friend, you have important things to tell them and shade to throw.

14. You've acted like a couple to save one from talking to somebody they didn't want to talk to.

I've did this so many times. Let a guy walk up to me who has been trying to talk to me or get my number. I will grab my best friend quick and say "Oh yeah, have you met my boo?" I've literally called my best friend over and made this exact face:

15. They are your biggest motivators.

Your best friends are there to support your dreams and goals even when you think you cannot achieve them yourself.

16. If you're upset, your best friend will vow to find who did you dirty.

Don't let somebody make you have a bad day. Your best friend will go after them with no problem at all.

17. You can be weird with them. There are no limits. Whatsoever.

There are no boundaries with your best friend. There is no limit to how weird you can be when you are together.

18. You trust each other.

Just like Alicia Keys said, "I will keep your secrets, just think of me as the pages in your diary." Basically, your best friend is your human diary that you can lock and throw away the key. Their lips are sealed, and you do the same for them.

19. Even if your schedules are busy, you still get in contact to check and see if your best friend is alive and among the living.

Even if you don't see your best friend for over a week, you still can check on each other and see if you're doing okay.

20. If something pops off, your best friend is stepping in as well.

Don't let a fight happen somewhere or somebody say something crazy to you. Your best friend jumps up like a mama bear ready to defend you. This is not a game.

21. Sarcasm is a must in your friendship.

If you've never made fun of each other or said sarcastic things, then you aren't really best friends.

22. You've gotten emotional or hype listening to Drake, Adele, Rihanna, Beyonce, or Justin Bieber.

Okay, all of these artists have bangers that either get you hype or make you sad. This is why you have a best friend to listen to the music with you. That way, they stop you before Drake makes you go call that guy you stole the juice box from in first grade or before Beyonce makes you go smash somebody's windshield in with a baseball bat and pour lemonade on it.

23. They have to critique who you date.

Your best friend has seen you through too many heartbreaks and long nights crying over the wrong guy or girl. Now, they have questionnaires ready for your significant other so they can let you know whether they're going to be able to stick around or not.

24. You both think other people are annoying. You share enemies, and sometimes don't even know it or know why for that matter.

You are true best friends if this has happened to you.

25. No matter what, you love them and you know they have your back just like you have theirs.

Your best friend is your ride-or-die. You have each other's back through thick and thin.

Best friends are what make the world go around. I am so blessed to have the friends that I have and I am grateful that they put up with my craziness, weirdness, and love for music since I sing literally every song that comes on.

Montel, Cameron, Natalyia, Cheyenne, Shannon, Rocky, DJ, Kimani, Kasey, you are the ones I'm thinking about on the top of my head (charge it to my head and not my heart if I've forgotten you). Thank you for being my friends/family and loving me for me. I don't know how I could get through life without you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
