1. There will never be a dull moment

Even when you might want some peace and quiet, you most likely won't get it, but you learn to appreciate it more than anything, and sometimes, it's exactly what you need.

2. You'll never be lonely

If one person doesn't want to go for a bike ride or take a trip to the mall, there's another person who will be happy to go with you.

3. Any mess can be cleaned up in an instant if you all work together

With more people comes more messes, but it also makes for a quick clean up.

4. You all share the same embarrassments

Although you have a love/hate relationship with your big van, you can't imagine it any differently thanks to all the memories you've made in it.

5. You're the best sharers

In a big family, most of the time you have to fend for yourself, but you also realize that sharing is a great way to show how much you love them. And even if you might not want to, you know your mom will make you.

6. You have way too many inside jokes, that if anyone knew about, you might just die

One quick look can mean so many different words, and you all know exactly what is meant by it.

7. You have at home counseling available 24/7

Your siblings know you better than anyone else and they are there for you no matter what. You know that they will never judge you.

8. You have enough people for every game imaginable

Whether it's a family board game or a quick game of lightning, you have enough people to play whatever you want.

9. Growing up, when your mom said you could have a friend over, you made sure you had a plan to keep the siblings away

10. When your parents need you, they say every other name before they get to yours

11. Speaking of your parents, they may or may not have forgotten to pick up a couple times, or even driven away without you

12. If one person is sad, you're all sad

You experience every single emotion with all of your family members, and if they're upset, you'll do whatever it takes to make them happy.

13. You quickly realize that the faster you are to get out of bed, the more likely you are to avoid the cold shower

14. If you need to say something important, you say it fast and loud!

15. Any pan of brownies, banana bread, or basically any treat is not going to last long. If you want to eat some, you eat them right away or hide some away for yourself later

16. When you leave for vacation, you know that you're most likely going to have to go back because someone forgot something

17. Going out for dinner is a huge treat, but it's also a huge process, so this tends to be a very rare occassion

18. If someone dates one member of the family, that means they are dating every member of the family

19. There's a child in every school system: elementary school, middle school, high school, and college

20. Having siblings of all different ages, you are constantly able to see the world from different perspectives

21. You learn it's better to give than to take

Presents are awesome, but in a big family, that's not something you get very often. The joy you get from seeing one of your siblings happy is even better than actually getting something for yourself.

22. You have no boundaries or bubbles

You're all way too comfortable with each other, to the point where people might find it a little weird.

23. You can be honest with each other, no matter how harsh it is

Bad breath, boogers, or a bad hair day, you know they will always have your back and there's no need to be embarrassed about it.

24. If anyone says anything bad about you, you know you have an army waiting to back you up and protect you

25. No matter what the fight was about, or how ugly it got, you know it meant nothing and you'll all get over it, because without them you would be completely lost

In the end, your family is what made you the person you are today and even after all the fights and embarrassments, you wouldn't have it any other way.
