Being a young adult is one of the most awkward times in any person's life. You're at the point where you're discovering who you are and where your place is in the world. Being awkward is a maxim to live by, especially for college students. But don't worry; you're not alone. We've all been there.
1. Waving back at a person who is waving to the person behind you.
2. Walking past someone who says "How're you?" and replying with "How're you?"
3. Forgetting how old you are.
4. Locking yourself out of your dorm or apartment.
5. Walking into the wrong classroom on the first day of school.
6. Calling the professor mom.
7. Forgetting to write your name on your test.
8. Spilling your just paid for, full to the brim, Starbucks on the sidewalk.
9. Tripping over the cracks in the sidewalk.
10. Falling off your bicycle.
11. Walking into a bicycle.
12. Saying hi to a person who is not the person you thought you were saying hi to.
13. Sending an embarrassing text to the wrong person.
14. Saying something that you think is funny, but that no one else thinks is funny.
15. Having a cough attack in the middle of class.
16. Hearing your phone rings during lecture.
17. Not having enough money to buy all your groceries and having to put something back on the shelf.
18. Laying down and dropping your phone on your face.
19. Being chosen in class to answer a question that you for sure weren't listening to.
20. Being caught taking a selfie.
21. Missing a step and doing a little tumble down the stairs.
22. Forgetting where you parked.
23. Singing the wrong lyrics out loud.
24. Spilling your food on your shirt.
25. Not knowing how to reply to someone's in person "What's up?"
Whether you want to admit it or not, at least a few of these awkward moments have happened to you. With that being said, congratulations on being a human.
