Senior year is the most sentimental and emotional year and there is no way to prepare for that but here are a couple things I wish I would have known before...
1. College applications aren't the worse thing in the world.
2. Senior year isn't an easy year, if you think you are going to slack off and have it easy get that thought out of your mind. Senior year matters to colleges just as much as any other year.
3.You don't realize how real it is to be a senior until you are at your last homecoming dance realizing you'll never have that moment ever again.
4. Senioritis is real.
5. Don't let others affect where you want to go never year and don't let anyone tell you you can't accomplish what you put your mind to.
6.Senior year really does fly by.
7. The little things won't matter in 5 years.
8.Don't pick a college based on where your bestfriends want to go, your friendships will stand distance.
9. Mental health days are okay.
10. It's the year to be yourself.
11. Its never too early to apply, over apply.
12. Spend time with your friends but don't forget to also spend as much time with your parents.
13. Hug your mom every chance you get and eat homemade meals as much as possible.
14.Save money.
15.You will be scared of your future but also be optimistic.
16. Don't let the ACT define you.
17. Take advantage of EVERY school event; from football games to prom.
18. It's never too early to prepare.
19.It's okay to be bestfriends with your teachers and counselors.
20. Use the resources provides for you, they are there for a purpose.
21. Prom will be one of the best nights of your life, go.
22. Have fun!! You never know when the next time you will all be together.
