Age is just a number in the realm of Disney.

22 Things All Disney-Obsessed Adults Know To Be True
Emma von der Lieth

When Disneyland first opened in 1955, Walt Disney stated: "To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future." The Disney parks were created for adults and children alike, so it isn't shocking that there are some adults (like myself) that love Disney just as much as children. Disneyland offers us a chance to escape back to their childhood, back to a time when our dreams were limitless and the world did not seem so harsh and cruel. It's safe to say that we all have a favorite Disney movie and character that we remember from our childhood, and we remember going to the parks with our families and the pure joy we experienced. Why not continue to experience this joy during adulthood? Age is just a number in the realm of Disney!

1. You watch Disney movies all the time even though you don't have children

And now you understand everything so much better.

2. All the money you make goes to vacationing at one of the many Disney theme parks

You appreicate mom and dad so much more now.

3. You know adult-sized Disney clothing is made for a reason

You can find this adorable shirt here.

4. Mousewait is life

It's the only way to plan your Disneyland vacation.

5. You've either Disneybounded before or have always wanted to

6. You still love to meet characters at the Disney parks

Even though the people inside them are probably your age or even younger.

7. But you have felt a little awkward meeting the princes and princesses (but you do it anyways)

8. You've become a Disney foodie

You've come a long way from those burgers and chicken fingers you worshipped as a child (hello, Dole Whip and Tigger Tails)

9. You've made food from Disney parks at home

Making strawberry twists is super easy, and you get a little taste of the happiest place on earth at home!

10. You have realized the magic that is alcoholic drinks at the Disney parks

Forget Vegas, go to Disney!

11. You've secretly wished someone would propose to you at one of the Disney parks

I think Disneyland Paris would be the prettiest, tbh.

12. You've also secretly wished your wedding could be at Cinderella's castle

And when you found out you can actually do this now, you almost cried.

13. You've dressed up as a Disney character for Halloween as an adult

And you looked flawless.

14. You aren't too fond of all the new changes being added to Disney parks

Because you remember the good ol' days of ToonTown and River Country, and Star Wars will never be Disney to you.

15. You still visit all of the Disney retail stores when you're not in the parks

And buy everything in sight.

16. You know your child's first vacation will be to one of the Disney parks

So you can make them Disney-obsessed adults like yourself (actually these people look crazier than I do, though...)

17. You know the best playlist is a Disney playlist

And you know all the words to every song.

18. You still have various Disney character stuffed animals

And you keep collecting more and more.

19. You've figured out how to make your home feel subtly Disney

Disney-themed wine glasses and pillows are key.

20. You have a Disney credit card or Disney stock, or you've thought about getting them

Why not profit from your favorite company?

21. You know you could never get along with people that hate Disney

Did Ursula steal their souls?

22. You still cry at the disney fireworks

We all just miss our childhood, let's be real.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
