These are a few things that from day to do, I have to remind myself of. I hope that these serve as a reminder to you too.

1. The past is the past. Let it go

2. Parents won’t always understand

3. Sometimes it takes losing someone to find yourself

4. Not everything you think is right, is right

5. Stop beating a dead horse. If it didn’t work the first time, it won’t work again

6. Love yourself before you love anyone else

7. Not everything in life is fair

8. Everyone has something that makes him or her incredibly sad (be sensitive)


9. Everyone has something that makes him or her incredibly happy (stick to that)

10. You won’t always have people who agree with you

11. Not all people are who you think they are

12. Break ups aren’t the end of the world, they might even mean a new beginning

13. Someone, somewhere loves you

14. Forgetting crappy people is OK!

15. Nothing is forever

16. If it keeps you up at night, you should probably do something about it

17. No matter what, never stop learning/wanting to learn

18. Asking for help is okay

19. Don’t be afraid to love again

20. Be yourself, always.
