How can you not love the sensitive vampire that is Stephan Salvatore?
2. But you are constantly screaming over those looks Damon gives, I mean come on.
Those blue eyes, that smirk, the bad boy appeal, it almost isn't fair for Stephan.
3. Then begins the constant struggle of Damon vs. Stephan as the seasons go on.
You end up secretly playing for both teams, but no one can judge.
4. Wishing you had a doppelgänger.
What wouldn't be fun about having a doppelgänger that constantly wants to kill you?
5. The struggle of hating Caroline and loving her at the same time.
She's that blonde, always peppy girl in high school who you love to hate and hate to love.
6. Why are werwolves a thing?
All they have done is caused problems in Mystic Falls, LEAVE (Except Tyler Lockwood).
7. Getting pissed every time Jeremy decided he was big and tough.
Stop messing up every plan Jer, we get it you're a vampire slayer. But, we will forgive you for how you start to look in the later seasons.
8. Jeremy, you're not. Please relax.
You die and have to be saved every other episode.
9. Speaking of Jeremy, it's more than likely that Bonnie dating him pissed you off and warmed you heart at the same time.
It's always weird if your best friend dates your little brother, but hey they're happy.
10. The Originals
They're scary and exciting and bring lots of drama and old history to the show. Especially Rebekah.
11. The feels you got at the end of Season 4 when the veil was lifted.
Ugh, so many feels for Alaric coming back.
12. Getting used to characters dying literally all of the time.
Multiple times, every episode.
13. The historical flashbacks are kind of your favorite part of the show.
Damon and Stephan from the 1800's, don't mind if I do.
14. The fascination with humanity switches.
WHY Stephan, why must you turn into the ripper. WHY Elena, why turn into such a bitch.
15. The gruesome murder scenes.
Something about a vampire being staked really just gets you.
16. Kinda being into Klaus's hopeless romantic love for Caroline.
His creepiness for never giving up on her is kind of endearing.
17. How literally every male in the show is a solid 10.

18. Every episode is a cliffhanger.
You can't just stop watching after one episode, the cliffhangers never end.
19. After watching the Vampire Diaries you feel an overwhelming need to be a vampire.
Compelling people, being able to do whatever you want, being immortal, etc.
20. Crying over the fact this show will eventually end.
Ugh.
