18 Thoughts Every First-Time Fantasy Football Player Has

Technical difficulties during the draft, having no idea what players to put in and take out, and projecting to lose week one and two are just a few occurrences that have happened during this fantasy football season, and it's only been two weeks. For newbies, like me, who are asked to join a fantasy football league--don't know why--these are some thoughts that have probably gone through your head...

1. When someone asks you if you want to join their league:

"It sounds like it could be fun."

2. When you realize you have no idea what you are doing:

"There's a draft?"

3. When you have to start researching players on the day of the draft:

"Do you want him to have a high or low return rate?"

4. When you feel confident about some of the key players on your team:

"Jamal about that bass."

5. When the draft starts:

"Eric Decker is so hot."

6. When you have technical difficulties:

"I can't remember my Yahoo password."

7. When someone takes your top players:

"Well, looks like I'm picking up Reggie Bush."

8. When it is time for week one:

"Do I take him out if he is injured?"

9. When you forget to take out Le'Veon Bell during week one:

"It was only three-fourths of an ounce."

10. When someone says they will help you out:

"Here's my username and password, please help me."

11. When you lose week one to your younger sister:

"How?"

12. When the person helping you won't answer their phone:

"Hey it's me, I am just mildly confused...about everything."

13. When you see that you are projected to win:

"Thanks, Matt Ryan."

14. When you surprisingly know what time some of the games are playing:

"But I don't know what I'm watching for."

15. When you have some random guy at the bar do your lineup:

"So am I doing this right, or naw?"

16. When you win week two against your older brother:

"I don't know how that happened, but in your face."

17. When week three rolls around:

"Do I still keep him in?"

18. When you realize you just have no idea what you are doing:

"Am I able to drop out of the league?"

Good luck to all during this season... I think that is what you are supposed to say.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
