I know I'm not alone when I say that I've had my fair share of cringes while swiping through Bumble. I wish there were some guidelines these guys can take a look at to improve their Bumble game. Oh wait, now there is! Here are 17 do's and dont's for guys on Bumble:

1. DO reference her profile

You see from her basic information that she studied at Columbia for her undergrad? Ask her how she liked the city, what the best clubs in town are, and if she ever visits New York now.

2. DO NOT criticize the way she started the conversation

It's bad enough that us girls have to start the conversation in twenty-four hours or else the match will expire; this already puts a lot of pressure on us. Don't make it even worse by insulting how we started the conversation.

3. DO flaunt it if you got it

A casual picture of you on the beach or at the lake featuring your abs is great; we love to see it.

4. DO NOT only use gym snaps or shirtless photos

This is going to make us girls think: is his body all he has to offer? Plus, you've always got to leave some stuff to the imagination.

5. DO be honest about your basic information

It's going to be really hard to explain how you shrunk four inches since the time you two matched when you finally meet in person.

6. DO NOT only show group photos

If I can't tell which guy you are, I'm automatically swiping left.

7. DO include a picture with a close family member or friend

If family and friends are a big part of who you are, you might as well show girls what your values are.

8. DO NOT show a picture of you and a dozen girls surrounding you

Every single girl is bound to roll their eyes and swipe left—believe me.

9. DO ask her for her number

Messaging in the Bumble app itself can be pretty annoying. You should only ask for her number once the two of you have established comfortability, of course.

10. DO NOT ask her out within the first five minutes of you two messaging

Everyone knows it takes at least some time to figure out if two people vibe or not; asking out a girl immediately seems a tad desperate.

11. DO compliment her (appropriately and genuinely)

Tell her something sweet that comes from the heart; if you shower her with compliments in every single message you send, it's going to come across as forced and phony.

12. DO NOT use cheesy pick-up lines we’ve probably heard before

We really hate to un-match with a guy but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.

13. DO ask for her social media to get to learn more about her

It's true that you can learn a lot about a person from what they're posting and sharing. Don't do this solely for the follow, though; girls can sense that shady sh*t.

14. DO NOT only upload photos with SnapChat filters

This is not cute.

15. DO connect your Spotify account

All I'm saying is that you can learn a lot about a person from their music preferences.

16. DO NOT lie about your age

It's not a cute look when you claim to be in your late twenties but you don't even look like you can legally consume alcohol yet.

17. DO have fun with it!

The Bumble world is your oyster (or, should I say 'beehive'?)!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
