1. You can find humor in every situation.

Most of the time your fights end with you laughing at each other for being mad. That, or playing "Sorry," by Buckcherry until the fight ends. You also find humor in really inappropriate situations, but it's okay because you've got someone who is just as weird as you are.

2. Food has brought you closer together than anything.

Nothing is sexier than hearing, "Do you wanna eat bagel bites in bed tonight?" No need for a fancy dinner because you're both probably just craving Chipotle anyway.

3. Being honest is no longer an option, it just happens.

No reason to lie to someone who knows everything about you. Honesty really has become the best policy and it makes things easier 100% of the time. You can be really open about what you like and dislike and nobody gets uncomfortable, you appreciate each others honesty.

4. You've never made anyone uncomfortable with PDA.

If anything, you've made them uncomfortable with your lack of PDA. There is more karate chopping and high fives in your relationship than kisses and hugs. It isn't that you don't like them, its just that making out in Kroger is a little odd to you both.

5. You know each other's families really well like they're your own.

Showing up at every family event isn't awkward anymore, and it's sort of expected. You know everyone in each others family and complain about all the same ones because they probably offended you both.

6. No need to worry about looking cute anymore.

They don't care, you don't care, and you can wear leggings every single day. You can't do winged eye liner but you sure can rock that sloppy ponytail.

7. Dates become much less expensive.

No need to pretend like you aren't cheap, because you both are. Finding free things to do and using coupons is totally acceptable. And so is doing nothing at all.

8.You can actually watch the movie.

Why would you pay $7.25 a piece to make out the whole time? I wanna see how they blow up the Death Star, thank you very much. Netflix and chill is actually watching "That 70's Show" and sitting on the couch, maybe with a face mask on.

9. You can make plans and actually follow through with them.

None of this, "One day, we'll see the world, baby." More of this, "We're getting in the car and going right now."

10. You've always got someone on your team.

It's nice to have someone who is always on your side, because they get it and they understand where you're coming from. Sure, they're a little biased but it doesn't mean it's not appreciated.

11. But sometimes you have to agree to disagree.

You don't agree on everything, but that's okay. You can respectfully explain your positions and continue eating jalapeno Cheetos.

12. They're not just your Saturday night, they're your Sunday. And every other day of the week.

They're your Saturday night because they're fun to go out with. They're your Sunday because you'll need someone to nap with. And they're all your other days because you'll need someone to keep you going through the week until Saturday.

13. You've got someone that loves all the bad stuff.

They've seen you at your worst, physically and emotionally, and they still choose to love you. They love you when you're being totally irrational and you love them when they haven't brushed their teeth yet.

14. You've always got someone there for you.

You've got someone who is good with spontaneous adventures, Target trips, gossip sessions, and Mario tournaments. You've got someone to hug at the end of a long day and someone to tell about all the funny stuff that happened at work. You've got someone who won't get annoyed when you complain about your friend, and someone to tell you it's going to be okay and you'll believe it.

15. You'll know this article is a little too mushy for your norm.

Sorry, I can't help that I love you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
