Winter break is officially over, which means it is time to go back to class. A new semester means new classes and new people in all of your classes. There are several things you can already expect to happen on the first day in each of your classes. Time to read over the syllabus and start thinking of a fun fact about yourself.
1. The millions of Blackboard notifications.
It's always nice when the syllabus comes out and a $300 book is listed as a requirement to pass the course. Whatever you do, wait to buy it. Chances are you won't even end up using the book.
3. Let's go around the room and say a fun fact.
Nothing is more awkward than when the professor makes you all go around the room and say your name, major and a fun fact. Even as an adult, it is still awkward. The only perk is you get to catch the cute boy in the room's name so you can stalk him later.
4. The professor reads the syllabus word. for. word.
Chances are you have probably already read over the syllabus to prepare yourself for the class. But, then the professor reads it word for word and puts you to sleep for the first day.
5. You take the time for one week to prepare the perfect outfits for the first day.
For the first day, you will agonize over planning the cutest first day outfit and looking cute. But, by the second week you're back to barely brushing your hair and wearing sweatpants all week.
6. You spend hours getting organized and ready for class to start.
Before class starts you take the time to organize, color code and write everything in your planner. You try to convince yourself you will be extra organized this semester, but you know it won't last past week 2.
7. Having to get yourself back on a sleeping schedule.
Staying up until 3 in the morning all break was great, until you come back to school have class in the mornings. Getting yourself back to going to bed earlier and up early in the morning is always rough.
8. Somehow managing to get lost trying to find your class.
Even though you have probably been on campus for awhile, chances are there is still one class you will find yourself lost trying to find.
9. You find the one person you want to avoid is in your classes.

10. You consider dropping out and just quitting.
When you suddenly feel like all your classes are too much and you should just quit.
