It's finals week, joy! I can't wait to finish my last final on Wednesday and be done with school work for the semester, as I assume most everyone feels the same way. No matter what major you are, most of us share the same thoughts during finals week:
1. Do I really have to study?
The answer is probably yes but you'll ask anyways. Whether you have a health final or a calculus final you're going to question yourself when it comes to studying.
2. Say, "I'm dropping out" every 10 minutes
You'll probably say this at least 50 times before you take your first final. You won't actually drop out or do anything, but you'll think and say this as soon as you don't understand something or you want to be done studying and learning and go to sleep.
3. Question your major and degree
After five hours of studying you'll start to question why you picked the major you are in. You'll probably start brainstorming and looking up a list of "easy" majors online and pick a new one for next semester. Along with "I'm dropping out" you might even Google if you need a college degree to get a job.
4. What time can I sleep in until?
It's 10 p.m. and you're so done with studying for the night. You'll try to plan what time you can wake up in the morning in order to have enough time to finish studying. Don't forget to set a few alarms so that you don't sleep in and miss your final!
5. Eat more than you should or not enough
You'll either be too stressed to eat or avoid doing work by eating. Personally, I will be eating to avoid work. I never have a problem eating 15 snacks before I start to study.
6. Wanting to be done but not wanting to leave
As much as you miss home, four months without your best friends does not sound fun at all. Going home will be nice for about a week then it will set in that you won't be able to see anyone until August.
