Walking out the doors at Sonora High School a year ago, I remember the feeling of sadness as I left my Raider family. Those of us who attended Sonora can all agree that the students and faculty are the best around. If you're an alum, or even still attend, you can relate to all of these!
1. You know the origins of the saying: "Raider Pride All Clear".
Yes, it's true, us Raiders have great pride in our school. But the most recent alums can attest to the origins of the saying. Just ask anyone who was in school the day of the lockdown in 2013.
2. You (girls) ran to find a sweater or pull down your shorts a little bit every time you saw Ms. Mack and Ms. Routledge.
Because dress code was always so hard to follow when most stores only sell short shorts these days.
3. CIF Champs of Food Drive
Coming together as a Raider family to help our community is one of the greatest traditions in Sonora.
4. Even if you never had him, you know Dr. Hawkins, and love him!
Working at Sonora for so many years gives you a pretty great reputation! Forever missing class with Hawkins!
5. It's no secret that the bathrooms in the 900 building are the cleanest.
During break and lunch, 900 building bathrooms are your best shot at getting a chance to actually go to the bathroom!
6. Basketball season is the best season!
Who doesn't love going to the Honda Center or well known universities to play in CIF Championships?
7. Fridays were spent under the Friday night lights cheering on Raiders Football!
The best way to rep the blue and gold!
8. The parting of the Red Sea has become a great tradition during basketball!
And if you are lucky, you witnessed the first ever parting three years ago!

9. The faculty at Sonora felt like family!
All the teachers and our loving principal Dr. Bailey went out of their way to make us all feel welcomed!
10. In-N-Out is just a walk away!
The best part of off-campus lunch is that In-n-Out is super close!
11. And if you couldn't make it to In-N-Out, the food trucks around the corner (now right in front of the school) always had so much food!
From tacos, to ice cream, to Takis with cheese, the food trucks had it all!
12. You are a professional on how to deal with a fire drill!
What seemed like weekly drills really prepared us for college!
13. You wore jackets and pants in 90 degree weather thanks to an indoor school!
Outside was 90, but inside was 65!
14. Attempting to leave the parking lot during lunch or after school took at least 20 minutes and a lot of strategizing from the driver.
With everyone trying to leave all at once, you had to figure out the shortest and best way to get out!
15. Once a raider always a raider.
Because, Sonora praise to you!
