As 2015 draws to a close, one thing on a lot of peoples minds are New Year's resolutions. Many of these become forgotten the next day, but this year I am hoping to have at least one, if not more of them, stick so I can be living a life of #goals.
1. Drink more water.
Drinking water is good for everything whether its your skin or just being more hydrated in general, you can't go wrong with drinking water.
2. Be outside more.
There's not much that some time spent in the great outdoors can't cure, so lets try to remember that in 2016.
3. Get more exercise.
I think if anything this is just a resolution that everyone has, so let's just put it on the list.
4. Less phone time.
Being present while you're with people, or spending what would be phone time doing something productive is good for all involved. Instagram can wait.
5. Read more books.
There are so many incredible books out there, and nothing is more satisfying then getting lost in a fictional world where everything is more awesome than in reality.
6. Spend more time with friends.
Your friends are just waiting for you to make incredible memories with them, get out there and do it.
7. Get a job I really enjoy.
Making money and doing something really fun? This is a no-lose situation.
8. Save up more money for the future.
Nothing is going to make you feel better than looking in your bank account and seeing a number in front of those zeros you're accustomed to.
9. Spend more time studying.
GPA from last semester makes this self explanatory.
10. Keep my spaces cleaner.
Organized spaces lead to a more organized mind, it's only benefitting you.
11. Spend more time on myself.
2016 is the year to love yourself. Get a head start on it.
12. Eliminate the things in my life that make me unhappy.
There is no room in this year to be surrounded by people or things that make you unhappy, they gotta go.
13. Declutter.
You don't need to keep every article of clothing or magazine you've ever gotten, clean up and ship it out.
14. Laugh more.
Self explanatory.
15. Be happy.
This is something that's gonna be hard, but when you reach the end you'll be so so happy you found it.
A lot of these goals are general and can be accomplished in many ways, but they are attainable for all of us. There is something that we all can do to help us start living the life of our dreams, and the new year is the perfect time to start that life.
