It is the first few weeks of summer for college students. We either head home, to our summer houses, or to a job or internship. No matter what your summer plans are, here are some of the essentials you'll need to get a kick start to the summer:

1. Self Tanner

After spending the past week or two locked into your finals study spot you probably need a good base tan.

2. Sunglasses


Protecting your eyes with some new stylish shades is major key.

3. Speakers

Make sure to have speakers to blast your new summer tunes.

4. New Workouts


Yoga, spinning, running, or any workout is a great way to get back into summer shape.

5. Polaroid

Get a camera to capture all your summer moments.

6. Pool Float

Float through the summer with a donut, pretzel, swan, or pizza.

7. Coloring Book

The Christmas gift everyone got can now be used without worrying about school work.

8. Water Bottle

Gotta stay hydrated and cool down in that summer heat.

9. Blanket

Perfect for the beach or a picnic.

10. Good Read

Find a good read for those long car rides for summer trips.

11. Weekend Bag

Because you need something to pack your other essentials in, of course.

12. Destination

Whether it is your local park or across the world, everyone has a summer vacation spot.

13. Friends

Because who else would you want to spend all summer with?
