Its sensational popularity has inspired its players to go on walks and explore new places. Even businesses have taken advantage of its popularity, featuring the game in their advertisements, promoting that they have Pokémon at their locations.

But what's better than this game? The memes that have surfaced since its release. They gain inspiration from enthusiasm for the game, play on news stories about people not watching where they're walking while playing the game, and ending up in unfamiliar places while playing. They're pure gold.
