12 Things 'Fuller House' Did Not Explain, And Should

I've got questions, mister.

12 Things 'Fuller House' Did Not Explain, And Should

"Fuller House," the much-anticipated spin-off of "Full House," premiered on Netflix last month and the Internet went crazy. I too went crazy and binge-watched the whole season in one, laughter-filled, nostalgic weekend. I loved "Full House," and I love "Fuller House," but there were just a few things that I couldn't shake. Here are 12 things that "Fuller House" needs to explain.

Spoilers ahead.

1. Tommy Fuller

First thing's first. Who is Tommy? Where did DJ meet him? What were his hobbies? Where is the rest of his family? Why aren't they involved with DJ and the kids? Why doesn't her family seem to mention him? How did he die? I want answers.

2. Matt Harmon

Who is this guy? Where did he come from? If he wasn't on the original show, why does he matter? Where did he get his vet training? Why hasn't he ever been married? Why was he so eager to up and leave his practice in Miami and move across the country? Did he never learn that you shouldn't date your coworker? Why? Who? Better yet, why?

3. DJ being a vet

Where was this interest in her formative years? It makes more sense for Michelle to have been a vet. In high school, DJ showed interest in journalism, not animals. Where did she go to school, since she didn't get into Stanford? Where did she study to be a vet? Why did she choose to be a vet? What was her undergraduate major? Give me something I can believe.

4. Steve being a podiatrist

How am I supposed to believe that Steve Hale, who was constantly portrayed as somewhat of a bumbling idiot, made it through medical school? Which medical school? Did he wrestle in college? Why didn't he get a culinary degree, since he loves food so much?

5. Stephanie not being able to have kids

Where did this come from? Why is it necessary? Jodie Sweeten has children. Is this a sly way of making sure, early on, that no one expects Stephanie to get married and have kids like everyone else? Is this just part of her disc jockey lifestyle? Is this a red herring and she is going to end up pregnant next season?

6. Why did Kimmy and Fernando get a divorce in the first place?

I need answers! Why, after 13 years of marriage, did they decide to split up, and then take two years to sign the papers? Was it his racing career? Was it interest in other women? Was it a combination of both? I need a reason behind the initial breakup before I can even begin to give an opinion on whether to not they should get married again or even still be together.

7. Danny's new wife

Where the hell is Vicky? What happened to Vicky, Danny? Who is this new woman? Where did you meet her? Has she met your children? When did you marry her? Has she been married before? Does she have kids? Where is Vicky?

8. The house

When the show opens, how is the whole cast and crew living in that house? Where is everyone sleeping? When did the remodel get done? Why would you remodel the kitchen but not update the couch fabric? What happened to the music studio in the basement? Why is part of the house the same and part different? Why was Danny so eager to sell it, without even thinking of DJ until the last second? Doesn't that seem like a no-brainer?

9. Why wasn't Danny at the vow renewal/wedding?

What friend doesn't show up to their brother-in-law/best-friends' vow renewal at his own house? Where was he? How rude! Everyone was there but him. Are you trying to tell me he was too busy to attend a wedding ceremony at his own house with all his old friends and family? Come on.

10. The sex jokes

Where did these come from? Why is this OK? I may be an adult now, but I was not ready for jokes like this, especially from Uncle Jesse. Stick with "Have mercy" and stop talking about sex with Rebecca. We get it. You do it. Don't talk about it in front of the kids. Same goes for Kimmy and Fernando. Stop. Just stop. I loved you when I was 6 and didn't even know what sex was. Don't ruin this for me. And Stephanie, put your boobs away, child.

11. Widowhood running in the family

Danny lost Pam, and now DJ loses Tommy? Why haven't we addressed how horribly tragic this is? DJ should be scared for life at this point. How horrible! Why did we have to do this? Why couldn't her husband have just been really awful and abandoned her? Why did he have to die? Why is DJ the unluckiest person in the world?

12. What happened to Jesse's band?

Why haven't Jesse and the Rippers made an appearance yet? If Jesse's love for Elvis hasn't changed, I want the Rippers to get back together. If Stephanie's elementary school husband Harry can make an appearance, so can Jesse and the Rippers.

I'm crying from nostalgia right now.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
