12 Signs You And Your Friend Have Reached The Next Level

I think it's funny how we just pick out someone that we know and say "yeah, I like this one I think I'll make them my best friend." Having a best friend is one thing. You might do everything together and share funny stories and laugh as stupid things. But special friendships reach that point where everything is taken to the next level. You've probably stayed at their house for an entire week before and not thought a thing about it, or maybe you and your best friend's mom hang out on the daily...without her actual daughter. If so, that's a prime example of taking it to the next level. Here are 11 more signs you have reached the next level with your best friend.

1. You are comfortable belting the lyrics to a song you don’t know

You know they would never judge you for making the car drive a little more fun. I said belting, not singing, because let's be real, when Katy Perry's "Roar" comes on, there is no going back.

2. The bathroom door doesn’t really serve it’s true purpose of providing privacy…

This one is pretty self explanatory. You've probably seen things you can never un-see.

3. You don’t care who buys lunch or who pays for the uber.

Money is constantly being traded between the two of you, so there really is no reason to make sure every penny is accounted for.

4. What's mine is yours.

This applies to clothing, shoes, makeup and on a rare, rare, desperate occasion...the toothbrush.

5. You don’t feel awkward around their significant others.

Whoever it is already knows you and all the weird things you and their gf/bf do together and just pretends to not see and/or hear what goes on.

6. You know their entire order at Chick-fil-A by heart and how much it costs (or whatever your go-to fast food place).

7. You share a Netflix account

Let's face it…you have that one friend who mooches off of your Netflix account without paying a single dime, but you let it slide because they’re your ride or die and if it means you can creep on what shows they’re watching then hey, why not.

8. You send the literal ugliest snapchats to each other

Half of the time you don’t even screen shot them because it’s such a normal thing now. It doesn't even phase you.

9. You text each other at the same exact time about the exact same thing

If something or someone is annoying you and you are with your friend, you can bet your bottom dollar that they're about to text you with the eye rolling emoji.

10. You don't care to help each other out with weird bodily things

11. You don’t even ask if they want to go out anymore.

You can tell just by looking at them if it’s going to be a chill night or if it’s a going out night.

12. You can sit in a room all day and just take stupid pictures and make stupid noises back and forth and you don’t even question it.

This sounds so weird but it’s so true. Don't even lie and say you've never sat in one place for an hour sending weird face swaps back and forth. We've all done it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
