11 Things To Do When You're Stressed Out

Constructive ways to chill out.

11 Things To Do When You're Stressed Out

1. Take a series of deep breaths.

Give yourself some time to just close your eyes, decompress, and breath.

2. Go for a walk.

Leave your stress at home and go outside, get some fresh air, and walk it out.

3. Make your favorite comfort drink.

Whether it be coffee, tea, or hot chocolate take a minute to enjoy something tasty and relaxing without stress eating and feeling worse.

4. Hang out with your pet.

It seems that animals are natural stress relievers. If you don't have your own head over to your friend's or to a local shelter for some puppy playtime.

5. Scream.

As long as you aren't in public, just let out all your frustration. It feels good, I promise.

6. Take a bubble bath.

Bubble baths are the cure all. Take some time for yourself to relax and really decompress.

7. Get out of the house.

Don't let the stress consume you. Get out and do something you enjoy.

8. Watch your favorite feel good movie.

Throw in your favorite movie, pop some popcorn, and just enjoy being able to quote every line.

9. Listen to classical music.

Close your eyes and listen to the music. It's so beautiful you can't help but relax.

10. Cook or bake.

Or order in a yummy meal/dessert if that's not your thing.

11. Dance it out.

Let loose and rock out.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
