Located in the middle of the University of Pittsburgh is the second tallest university building in the world, the Cathedral of Learning. Referred to as Cathy by Pitt students, most students love Cathy more than they love themselves. On any given day it's possible to hear a Pitt student saying, "Cathy is prettier than me. How is it possible that building is prettier than me?" And I hate to agree and say that Cathy is prettier than me, but there is not competition because Cathy is a borderline goddess and might as well be your dream girl.

Regardless of the weather, Cathy is always beautiful and ready for her close-up. If you think you can't get a good picture of Cathy because the weather is bad, then you obviously aren't trying hard enough.

Oh, you’re at the Frick and want to take a picture of Cathy with the fountain? Do it. Wait, you’re in Hillman and can see Cathy from outside the window and want to snapchat her beauty? Please do. What? You’re laying on Soldiers and Sailor’s Lawn and haven’t taken a picture of her yet today? Just take the picture; you wouldn’t regret it.
3. Cathy knows how to celebrate (she gets lit)

Yes, sometimes Cathy can be the conservative girl that you take home to meet your parents, but Cathy also knows how to celebrate. Just let me tell you, when Cathy is lit, it’s for a good reason and you know that it’s going to be a good night.

Is your drunk ass lost somewhere in south Oakland? Don’t fear because Cathy will always be there to lead you home to the safety of your dorm (or at least Pitt’s campus).

I challenge you to find me one person who hates Cathy. I’ll give you a few minutes if you want but we both know that you can’t accomplish this task because like I said, everyone loves Cathy. Whether they like lounging out on one of the many lawns by her or just taking pictures of her, trust me; everyone loves Cathy.

Cathy holds over 80 years of knowledge and experience. However, she isn’t only book smart. She is updated on what is happening in the world. During the Paris bombing, Cathy used her height and beauty in order to raise awareness for the awful events (almost forgot to mention that she looks beautiful in every color).
